Orchard of Hope Foundation

The C of Hope team was formed in memory of Cecilia (fondly known as "C") Farr, a cancer champion for fifteen years in the '50s to early '70s when cancer was even more of a mystery than it is today and not openly discussed. C used her nursing knowledge and compassion to counsel other wormen who were diagnosed with breast cancer and provided emotional support to them and their families. Her early efforts are much in line with the mission and values of the Orchard of Hope Foundation. The C of Hope team is our small way of honoring her strength and the strength of all our extended family members and friends who have been impacted by cancer.

 

2011 marks the 7th year for the C of Hope team to participate in the Walk for Hope. While the majority of our team members reside outside of Fremont County, we are committed to the Orchard's mission and its dedication to ensuring funds are utilized efficiently and distributed to those who need them.
